Hey future Test Automation Engineer!

We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic Test Automation Engineer Trainee to join our Netvisor QA team for the next summer!  

Netvisor QA Team is responsible for ensuring the quality of Netvisor products. We have nine QA professionals in this team who are doing functional and non-functional testing as well as test automation.

Netvisor is the leading platform for financial management, accounting, billing and worktime management in the Finnish market. We have over 100 experts working with Netvisor product development in different roles. 

What awaits you here?

During the trainee period, you get to participate in the Netvisor Test Automation project and have the opportunity to learn new things under the guidance of great professionals. Tasks and projects are determined by your skills and interests and may be related to e.g. web application test automation or mobile test automation. As a full member of the team, you are given responsibility and hands-on work on automating new tests for the key product areas.

We are actively embracing AI in QA through our "Quality Intelligence" initiative. This means that we are using AI-powered tools for test generation, code review analysis, and intelligent test planning. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge AI technologies that are transforming how we approach quality assurance.

We have a working test automation system that is heavily utilized for Netvisor products’ testing. We are promoting the "Shift Testing Left" concept in our project, and we have big plans to make it better. We are looking for enthusiastic people who would like to work with us and support this project. Our test automation experts, who have over ten years of testing job experience, are excited to share their knowledge with you.

In addition, we hope you

• are studying Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar relevant field.

• have completed at least 3 years of studies by the beginning of summer, although we value your skills and attitude more than years of studies.

• have some skills or knowledge from Java, JavaScript, Python or any other programming language.

• have some knowledge about testing - understanding test automation principles or test frameworks will be considered a plus. 

• are curious about AI technologies and their applications in quality assurance.

• are fluent in English, since we work in a multicultural environment.

The position is a fixed-term summer job (May-August). Although we support remote work we hope to see you at the office on a weekly basis either in Helsinki or Lappeenranta.

Salary for this Summer Trainee position is 2750 €/month + benefits.

The recruitment process includes ability tests and one round of interviews for finalists (including a small home assignment). We will respond to all applicants within a week after the application period has ended. Interviews will be conducted during February and the employment contract signed by the end of March.
