We are looking for a visionary, experienced and enthusiastic Lead Designer to join our team!

In this role, you will work at the heart of R&D within multiple teams, collaborating closely with Designers, Team Managers, Leadership, Developers, Product Management and Domain Experts.

As our Lead Designer, you’ll shape the strategic direction and development of a market-leading financial management platform, as well as ambitious new ventures. Our team is spread across Finland, but you can find many of us in our Lappeenranta and Helsinki offices.

What awaits you here?

As our Lead Designer, you will take the reins of the user experience within our Financial Management Software (FMS) R&D, overseeing Netvisor, alongside various existing and upcoming innovations. This is a role for a visionary who isn't afraid to get their hands dirty. You will lead the design function, balancing strategy with hands-on execution for web and mobile, while championing the intentional use of AI tools to accelerate production and explore the next frontier of user experiences.

You won't just be managing; you will be shaping the future of how businesses handle their finances through your extraordinary design skills. You will oversee the development of our Design System, ensuring it scales across our ecosystem, and spearhead the integration of generative design processes and AI-driven UX patterns to keep our R&D unit on the cutting edge. Whether you are prioritizing workstreams under pressure or mentoring other designers, your impact will be felt directly in the product’s value and the team’s development and efficiency.

Depending on your experience and interest, this role also offers the opportunity to take on formal people management responsibilities, allowing you to directly shape the growth and careers of our design talent.

What do we expect from you?

We are looking for a seasoned designer who thrives in the intersection of complex logic and intuitive interfaces. You are a self-starter who can manage your own workload and the team’s capacity without losing sight of the big picture.

To succeed in this role, you should bring:

• Visionary Design Experience. You have a proven track record of designing successful web and mobile products. You are a Figma power user and have spent several years building and maintaining robust Design Systems.

• Hands-on Leadership Mindset. You enjoy leading the design function, but you are at your best when you are also actively designing. You are fast, iterative, and execution-oriented.

• Pragmatic AI Integration. You have a deep interest (and practical experience) in how AI can enhance the design process. You are eager to explore how generative design and AI-augmented workflows can make our design work smarter and faster.

• B2B & Domain Knowledge. Experience in B2B environments - specifically ERP, CRM, or FMS – is a significant advantage. If you have an entrepreneurial background, you’ll fit right in. If you don't know the world of accounting yet, you have the curiosity and drive to learn it quickly.

• Resilience & Prioritization Skills. You can handle the pressure of a fast-paced R&D environment, making clear-headed decisions on what to prioritize for yourself and the team.

• Fluency in Finnish and English. Effective communication in both languages is essential for collaborating with our internal teams and understanding the Finnish accounting & financial management business environment.
