People Business Partner, Visma Solutions
We want you to shine!
We are a passionate team of 10 People professionals, highly valued for our contributions across the company. We are now seeking a new Senior People Business Partner to join our dynamic People team and help us continue our growth journey.
As our new Senior People Business Partner, you will operate independently as the key HR partner for selected software product lines, working closely with the business as a member of the product management teams. You won't be working in isolation; collaboration with your fellow business partners is a cornerstone of our approach. We also encourage you to mentor and support junior colleagues in their professional development.
In this multi-faceted role, you will take charge of all People-related matters for your assigned product lines while participating in shaping our company-wide People processes. Responsibilities can be tailored to your strengths and interests, allowing you to make a meaningful impact.
We work with 8 diverse product lines, each varying in size, needs, and stage of the business lifecycle - from scaling startups to mature performers. What unites these products is their drive for growth. While your deep connection and trusted relationships with your specific product lines are crucial, we also value cross-collaboration. We encourage you to leverage your special skills across the organization, enhancing synergy and innovation.
What awaits you in this role?
- Strategic Partnership: As a member of the product management teams, you will contribute to achieving business targets and ensuring that People strategies align with product goals, supporting the overall success and growth of product lines.
- Leadership Support: You are the go-to advisor for Product Directors and product management team members, sparring on various employee-related topics and providing expert guidance and support on complex HR issues, making sure that our policies and practices are effectively implemented.
- Employee Engagement: You drive engagement initiatives, addressing development needs and fostering a forward-looking, positive team spirit.
- Initiatives & Advisory: You will lead or support key HR initiatives like performance management, competency development, talent acquisition, and strategic workforce planning. You also provide guidance on employment relations, organizational design, restructuring, and change management. Analyzing HR data will provide you insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
What do we expect you to have?
This role requires efficiency, passion, and the ability to manage diverse People-related tasks. To succeed, you should have several years of HR experience, including:
- minimum 5 years of experience as a member of a management team (e.g., startup, product, or business area management).
- background in strategic HR management and experience in being the sole responsible individual for HR operations.
Additionally you should have:
- Applicable university or higher education degree.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and partner with leaders at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
- Business-oriented thinking and coaching skills.
- Good knowledge of Finnish labor legislation.
- Ability to learn new things quickly, to plan and execute tasks independently, and to adjust flexibly to rapidly changing situations.
- Prioritizing skills and proactive approach.
- Fluent Finnish and English language skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.
