We're now on the lookout for a smart and curious Pricing Specialist to join our dynamic team. You will drive the development and execution of effective pricing strategies across our portfolio, ensuring our products not only deliver exceptional value to our customers but also achieve our business growth objectives. Our software products are in different stages of lifecycle and maturity, and operate in different markets so therefore the needs vary accordingly. Product Directors are your internal customers and key stakeholders, as well as Sales and Marketing professionals.

What do we expect from you?

In addition to experience in developing and implementing pricing strategies in corresponding environments, these three guidelines are key to success in this role and navigate you in collaboration with different internal stakeholders:

  • Capability to convey pricing strategies to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Courage and proactiveness to gain market understanding both internally and externally.
  • Excellent communication skills in both Finnish and English.
• Behavioural economics insight
  • Ability to understand how customers perceive value and make purchasing decisions in digital environment, including the psychology of subscription models and freemium strategies.

We expect you to have a few years of experience in the aforementioned areas. You likely have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field. Financial acumen and analytical proficiency are a plus, but your background can also be e.g. in Sales or Marketing. Ideally you have experience of working with the SMB sector and B2B business critical software.

You will have the support of the Finance and Data team in case you are not already familiar with SaaS business and subscription-based revenue models. You do not need to be an accounting or finance professional, just passionate about pricing models and numbers. We are also not looking for someone handling tender and discount calculations. The most important qualities are your ability to learn new things, ask the right questions, take initiative, and to solve problems.

Although we're closely connected throughout the day, we don't physically sit close to each other, so we don't expect you to either. However, we would appreciate it if you could occasionally visit us and gather together with your team mates at our offices in either Lappeenranta or Helsinki (Pasila).

The salary range in this position is estimated to be around 4-5 keur/month depending on your relevant experience and seniority, but we are happy to hear your expectations.
