Netvisor SaaS-product already serves over 44 000 clients in Finland. This means that over 200 000 payslips are created and over 1 million invoices are sent monthly. Our product streamlines the daily lives of Finnish entrepreneurs, accountants, and employees by automating many important processes in invoicing, payroll, and expense management.

What to expect when you join us?

We are now looking for a software developer to join a team that works on the modernisation of Netvisor Payroll. This team currently consists of seven in-house developers and is supported by designers and architects.

On a more technical note, our current backend stack consists of C# .NET 8, ASP.NET Core, asynchronous programming, REST API, GraphQL, and more. Frontend stack includes React, TypeScript, Zod, i18next, Vite, TanStack Query, etc. In testing we use NUnit, NSubstitute, Bogus, and Playwright.

Our hopes for our new colleague

In order to succeed in this role, you should have minimum 2-3 years of experience in fullstack development in the following areas:

• Expertise in React, TypeScript, and/or JavaScript.
• Proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core and .NET Core/.NET 5+.
• Experience with relational databases.
• Competence in writing and maintaining tests (see our Test Stack above; MSTest, xUnit, or Moq is appreciated).

In addition, you should have:

• Basic understanding of how AI can be utilised in product development.
• Proactive "can and will do" attitude - the ability to get things done efficiently and effectively is important.
• Great team player skills with a keen social eye in different situations.
• Fluent communication skills both in written and spoken Finnish and English. You should be able to understand and work with Finnish payroll related terminology.

As nice to have, but not at all necessary, we would find it an asset if you have previous experience in payroll systems or from a highly regulated industry. It’s also very helpful if you have experience with cloud-native or Kubernetes applications and AWS, or familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Git. We use GitHub for code repository/version control, and GitHub actions and ArgoCD for CI/CD.

Visma Solutions has offices in Helsinki and Lappeenranta, but you can also work from other Visma offices or remotely from anywhere in Finland. Although we're connected throughout the day, we don't physically sit close to each other, so we don't expect you to either. However, we would like you to occasionally visit your team mates in our offices.

The salary range in this position is difficult to estimate as it can be anything between 3500-5000 €/month depending on your relevant experience and seniority, but we are happy to hear your expectations.
