Accode at Visma Solutions is looking for a Frontend Developer to join our team!

Accode is building an automation platform for accounting offices in the Nordics. Trusted by thousands of customers, including the largest accounting offices in Finland, we're changing how automation and AI are used throughout the accounting process to deliver real, measurable business results.

What will you be doing?

You will play a significant role in designing, implementing, and taking ownership of the product experience our customers interact with daily.

Your day-to-day work and responsibilities will include:

• Developing features and functionality with a focus on exceptional user experiences, all the way from an initial idea to a polished production feature. The focus will be on frontend work (React), but features often also require the ability to work on backend functionality.
• Collaborating with our tight-knit team and our customers to deliver new features and improvements, and to ensure a cohesive product experience.
• Championing front-end best practices in code quality, component design, accessibility, and performance.
• Participating in product roadmapping, technical discussions, and decision-making for future initiatives.
• Debugging and resolving issues across the stack, ensuring that our application runs smoothly for all our customers.

Technologies you'll work with:

• TypeScript in React and Node.js
• Tailwind
• GraphQL and PostgreSQL
• Docker, Github Actions, logging and monitoring tools

What are we looking for?

• 4+ years of experience in a frontend or full-stack role, with a strong focus on building user-facing applications.
• Deep understanding of React and TypeScript on the frontend, but also a solid understanding of backend development (Node.js).
• A strong product and UX mindset, with a passion for building interfaces that are not just functional but also delightful to use.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently on complex technical issues and a proactive approach to new challenges.
• Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts and collaborate effectively with team members.

Here’s also some nice to have stuff:

• Experience with UI/UX design principles and tools like Figma.
• Experience with frontend performance optimization and browser monitoring tools.
• Finnish language skills are considered an asset due to the Finnish customer base (we hope all our team members interact with customers too).

Visma Solutions has offices in Helsinki and Lappeenranta, but you can also work from other Visma offices across Finland or fully remotely from anywhere in Finland.

We believe diversity is a richness so we would love to have applications from people with various backgrounds. However, we are not able to offer relocation services so you would need to be already based in Finland and have a valid work permit.

The salary range in this position is difficult to estimate as it’s a new role and can be e.g. between 4000-5500 €/month depending on your relevant experience and seniority, but we are happy to hear your expectations.

Our recruitment process includes two rounds of interviews, first one with Recruiter & Team rep. (30-45 mins) and second being a technical Interview (90 mins).
