Hello future Software Developer!

We are looking for proactive and enthusiastic Software Developer Trainees for the Netvisor development teams for next summer! 

We are welcoming two trainees to join our Pubi & BookFlow development teams. These teams are working in the core of Netvisor, focusing on essential accounting and payroll functionalities. We have several developers spread across Finland, but you can find some of us also in our Lappeenranta and Helsinki offices.

Netvisor is the leading platform for financial management, accounting, billing and worktime management in the Finnish market. We have over 100 experts working with Netvisor product development in different roles.

During your trainee period, you will have the chance to engage in software development as part of a Scrum team, offering you the opportunity to learn new skills under the mentorship of great professionals. Tasks and projects are determined by your skills and interests, but our work primarily focuses on backend development. That’s why we hope you have passion for it!

In addition, we hope you

• are studying Computer Science, Software Engineering or a similar relevant field.

• have completed 2-3 years of studies by the beginning of summer, although we value your skills and attitude more than years of studies.

• have knowledge from some object-oriented language such as C#, VB.NET, Java.

• have basic knowledge of front end programming with HTML and Javascript.

• have knowledge from relational databases and SQL.

• are fluent in English, since we work in a multicultural environment.

The position is a fixed-term summer job (May-August). Although we support remote work we hope to see you at the office on a weekly basis either in Helsinki or Lappeenranta.

Salary for this Summer Trainee position is 2750 €/month + benefits.

Our recruitment process includes ability tests and one round of interviews for finalists. We will respond to all applicants within a week after the application period has ended. Interviews will be conducted during February and the employment contract signed by the end of March. 

About the Visma Summer Trainee program

There are 14 Visma companies in Finland, and in this role you’ll work in Visma Solutions Oy. You will also participate in the Visma Finland Summer Trainee program and meet trainees from other Visma companies. The program kicks off in May with introduction days organized in Helsinki, and ends with a joint closing event in August. The official language of the program is English.
