We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to join our Netvisor internal security team. In this role, you will work as part of an enabling team, dedicated to supporting our development and infrastructure units across the entire Netvisor Product Development.

The Netvisor product family is diverse, featuring everything from robust monolithic .NET foundations to modern, highly scalable, and event-driven services. Your goal is to empower the teams behind these services by providing architectural oversight, technical expertise, and tooling necessary to ensure our security posture consistently exceeds the requirements of the Visma Application Security Program (VASP).

What can you expect when joining us?

As a Senior Security Engineer, your role and responsibilities include:

• Cross-Team Security Support: Acting as a high-level consultant and enabler for development teams, assisting them in integrating security best practices into both product features and infrastructure designs.

• Architectural & Code Reviews: Reviewing and vetting infrastructure blueprints and application code solutions across our diverse platforms to ensure that they are secure-by-design and resilient against modern threats.

• Infrastructure Collaboration: Working alongside our dedicated infrastructure team to support the management of our cloud security posture, providing expert guidance on cloud-native hardening and monitoring.

• Vulnerability Management & Triage: Managing and interpreting results from CSPM and other scanning solutions, providing engineering teams with actionable, prioritized remediation paths that reduce friction.

• Diverse Platform Adaptation: Implementing and adapting security controls fit for various solutions - understanding the nuances of securing both legacy monoliths and modern, event-driven applications.

• Security Automation: Helping teams tune and manage security tooling (SAST, DAST, SCA) within their CI/CD pipelines to facilitate seamless "security as code" workflows.

• Future-Tech Readiness: Staying on the pulse of emerging trends, such as agentic AI development, ensuring that our security boundaries for autonomous processes remain robust while our ecosystem evolves.

What are we looking for?

• Senior Technical Expertise: You have a strong background in security engineering and are capable of reading and reviewing code across a diverse stack.

• Cloud Infrastructure Fluency: You are highly proficient with cloud security principles and IaC (Infrastructure as Code), with a track record of supporting teams in maintaining a hardened environment.

• Versatile Mindset: You can navigate the security requirements of different architectural patterns, from stable legacy systems to high-scale, distributed services.

• Security Advocate: You are passionate about driving a security culture that goes beyond baseline compliance.

• Enabler Mindset: You view security as a service to your fellow engineers, focusing on coaching and knowledge-sharing to elevate the collective performance of the development organization.

• Fluent communication in English and Finnish: Although our company language is English, our Netvisor product is operating in the Finnish market.

Visma Solutions has offices in Helsinki and Lappeenranta, but you can also work remotely from anywhere in Finland. Although we're connected throughout the day, we don't physically sit close to each other, so we don't expect you to either. However, we would like you to occasionally visit your team mates in our offices.

The salary range is estimated to be around 5500-6500€/month depending on your seniority and prior experience, but we are happy to hear your expectations.
